Bannana Anyone?

Do we have the cutiest Bannana ever or what?!
These pictures really don't show how cute he really was tonight but it's a little hard to hold him and take a picture with him at the same time. :) SUCH IS LIFE!
Never would think this kid is sick huh? We are off to the Dr. again tomorrow morning. He hasn't been drinking his bottle and Dr. wants to see him. I hate saying this but hopefully it is an ear ache or sore throat.... I don't really want to have to re-teach him how to drink a bottle. Not real sure what that is all about but that could happen. He ate fine from me tonight so hopefully it continues. :) I will update what we find out tomorrow.
We hope everyone had a great Halloween. I'm calling it a night... yes it is still pretty early. I'm not feeling well and either is Rylan so I think all we need is SLEEP! Good Night All!
Love,
Andrea & Rylan
We miss you Daddy!

Uncle Caleb's Last High School Football Game

Aunt Becca with Rylan at Uncle Caleb's State Football Playoff game. We were yelling hard. Rylan just wanted to go to sleep but how could he do that when his Mommy was yelling all these cheers! It probably wasn't as cold as this picture looks but we had him bundled up. Dang it I didn't even get a picture with his shirt. Another time............

1st Stocking Cap

Mommy got Rylan his first stocking cap. Yes, maybe a tad too big. Peek a Boo!
Sorry for the gross shirt. I think we had sweet peas EVERYWHERE! Even all over Mommy! I gave him a big bite and then he coughed and you can about imagine where everything went. All I could do was laugh!
Rylan's big thing is to put anything and everything in his mouth. He puts these bottles in his mouth. He especially likes them when they are cold. This picture doesn't do justice but he literally have pretty much the whole thing in his mouth!

Cole Making the move

Last weekend Jeremy's family came down. Cole is one week younger than Rylan. They are really starting to play really well together. She's gotten down the sitting a lot sooner than Rylan but this was his FIRST sitting by himself. If you don't remember but a few months ago Rylan was all over Cole touching her and putting his hand up her shirt.. blah blah blah Well if you see this picture... she is putting her arm around him. :)

After

So, after he laughs at himself I didn't hear him for awhile. So, of course if you don't hear children for awhile you must go and check on them. Well he had this basket on him and he was just playing.... he looked at me after this picture smiled and then kept playing with the basket. Funny boy!

After Work Routine

So, after I get off work, get Rylan from the sitter and then we come home... we have a pretty good routine. Well I clean his bottles while he either plays on the floor, or exersauser, or swings. Well this day he was crawling everyone and having fun. I was minding my own business when I hear Rylan totally laughing at himself. It wasn't just a little chuckle it is is whale of laughter. So, these pictures don't do justice but he looks in that mirror and just laughs at himself. It is hilarious!

Laundry Basket Ride

Alright, so right before this picture he was rather fussy. So, we were doing laundry and Jeremy just put him in the laundry basket and this is what we got instantly! He sat in the basket forever and just laughed.

Last week

I am patiently waiting for my mom to feed me in my big man chair. Yes, my parents need to get me a high chair because I am trying hard to get anything and everything that is remotely close to me.
Yeah, my Mom thinks it's funny to take my pictures.... when really all I want is......

more food! I get this all the time. He is pretty good about opening his mouth and letting me feed him. This was the first day he like opened his mouth way before I could even get food on the spoon.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN ALL!

Have a great day all! First, I want to say to my little brother.... great game last night. We enjoyed seeing you play all 4 years and sorry the seasons always seem to finish the year with a loss. However, it is exciting that you made it to the STATE PLAYOFFS! I am very proud of you because you were very much a leader on the team. Keep being the leader you are now on the field now off the field and move it to all areas of your life. Sports do great things to people and how we are on the field or court sometimes isn't how we are in our daily lives. Keep being who you are and remember every step of your life when you choose something that is not looked upon as a good role model you have at least three little nephews (so far) that think you are the worlds GREATEST person. They will want to be just like YOU. So, far you are a great role model. Thank you! Keep your chin up today you did your best and that is all we can ask for. Great Season Caleb! We love you!

Secondly, have a great day all. We are dressing up at work and I am being something that is maybe a little risky but all the people I have talked to said that I should totally do it. So, after the festivites are done today I will make sure to blog about it tonight. Plus, after I get Rylan in his costume I will take pictures. I just wanted to tell everyone to have a great day! I'm not feeling the greatest so having a fun day planned should help. :) Looking forward to a restful weekend.

Have a fun day all,
Andrea & Rylan
We miss you Daddy!

Soy, Milk, or either

Well we are back to no Soy or Milk in my diet. I am still breastfeeding and was able to gradually start eating milk and soy products. So, I did... maybe a little faster than I was suppose to however, I wasn't eating the major stuff like milk, cheese, or yogurt. That is until Saturday. Everyone wanted Godfather Pizza. How could I resist? I didn't I ate pizza and I loved it... yes my mouth is watering just thinking about it. Anyway, since then that has been since Rylan has been fussy spitting up more and just not being himself. So, off the milk & soy products. UGH! So, very frustrating. Do you know how much I love pizza, milk, ICE CREAM... yogurt? It's worth it. I called the Dr. yesterday to see what I should do because Rylan's been having hard poopies, spitting up, and just unhappy... NO SOY OR MILK again. But before I got that news I was talking with the Recpt. and she said that her daughter was milk and soy intolerant and she would scream for 20 hours straight. Literally thanking God Rylan is a pretty happy camper. She said she couldn't breastfeed and that the formula for Milk & Soy Intolerant is $42.something. I think I will be breastfeeding until I just can't any longer. I can go without pizza and all the things I love for him. :) Pray that he outgrows it.
Also, say a little prayer for Rylan's girlfriend at the sitter. She is probably about 10 weeks old and is on a feeding tube. Her parents have to come two times a day to feed her which takes an hour each time. She was aspirating her formula into her lungs. They still aren't sure what exactly is going on. This could go on for 7-8 weeks. That is a long time.
Alright, well the little guy isn't happy so I better get going.
Have a great night everyone!

WHAT IS EVERYONE BEING FOR HALLOWEEN????

What's New

Rylan is offically taking baby steps in the crawling world. He takes like two or three crawls/steps and then sometimes stops but then sometimes he face plants. I hate to say this but it is actually pretty funny. On good days he just gets up and starts all over again. On a day like today... he will just cry. Mr. Rylan is cranky. We aren't sure what is going on but it is one of the three, teeth, constipated, or just wants mom & dad. His nose is running a little and doesn't seem to have a fever so maybe he just doesn't feel good either. From going to having a happy little baby to a fussy baby... IT IS MISERABLE!
Other than that what is new. HOW COULD I FORGET... besides just crawling a little he is also sitting up on his own. Yep, he conquered that this weekend. I think it was because he saw his cousin Cole do it so he thought if she can do it so could he. :) So, yes I believe the child proofing the house will be coming this weekend! Otherwise we may be in trouble. Rylan is still making us laugh on a day to day basis and we are still thanking God for letting us be parents. He is a lot of fun and it is weird to think what I did before him.
Congrats to our friends Neil and Renee for bringing in a little baby girl into the world Lydia Lynn... now where is that E on the end?
Good night everyone... off to finish up dinner and get baths taken and night night!
Have a great Hump Day tomorrow!

Sorry No Pictures

Okay, so I have to apologize but I don't have pictures to share in this but when I was teaching Rylan how to kick in the bath tube a few months ago I never thought that when I gave him a bath that I would also get a bath. Tonight when I gave Rylan a bath I think both Jeremy and I were getting showered by his kicks of water and the shower of water that got on all of us. We were humored but oh man.... I was soaked. I would tell Rylan that he could stop kicking the water and getting Mommy all wet and all he would do is laugh harder. NICE! I guess this is the joy of having fun raising a child. He is a mover and never sits still unless it is when he is sleeping. Even then he is still moving a bit....
Rylan is also eating a TON. He is still on #1 baby foods but I can't just feed one jar to him. He is on banana's and green beans(he got over the gagging). Then after both of those he gets upset and wants more but I cut him off. I feel horrible but I don't think he needs that much. MY LAND! So, watch out the next time you see him he will be have put on some lbs.
Also, just so you all know the last post I made regarding the Ham.... I made a great meal tonight. Noodles, asparagus, mushrooms, chicken and Italian dressing... weird combo but yummy. It is in the Pampered Chef It's Good For You cookbook. I changed a FEW things to make it with things I would like (NO TOFU) but mostly what was in the recipe. I think it's my new favorite noodle salad. :) So, I am not a horrible cook... Jeremy agreed the it was 100% better than last night... of course it didn't take much.
Good Night!

Ham or Processed Ham

Okay, so I am trying to be a good wife, Mommy and to do that requires a little scheduling and trying of new things. Tonight we did just that. :) I have taken advice from my sister that it is easy to plan out the weeks meals so then when you get home from work you can enjoy your time with your family and not have to worry about what to fix for dinner. So, when it was just Jeremy and I it never seemed to work.... maybe it was a lack of actually looking in cookbooks and figuring out what to fix. Not sure. Anyway, this Sunday I planned out this weeks meals (dinners), went to the store and got what I needed. Last night was Chicken Stir Fry... I go the easy way and buy the packet of veggies... easier. Tonight was Root Beer Ham. Next night something else so on and so forth. I can't tell you how excited I was about making this ham. Last night was something we have had before but tonight I was excited because I really so badly wanted to impress Jeremy by showing him that I can do something and do it well. Well, I failed!... and got the TOLD YOU SO comment. I deserved it. :) So, I went to the store on Sunday got a ham. I have no clue what kind of Ham to get. Everyone that I tried to call while in the store weren't home and I couldn't get ahold of them. So, I thought I would use my best judgement (scary yes I know... last time I will do that!) and pick the farmland kind. It was perfect I was suppose to get a 5 lbs ham and root beer. Not too hard, I didn't think. I guess at Thanksgiving and other Holiday's I need to pay a little more attention. This was a PROCESSED ham not a 'good' ham. Jeremy warned me that this was a 'processed' ham and it wouldn't be any good or maybe that it wasn't what I was thinking. I was not about ready to take the ham back to Hy-Vee to get a 'HAM HAM' so I made it anyway. What is the difference? No matter how many times Jeremy TRIED to explain it to me I still couldn't figure it out. I guess I just don't understand... now I do. So, anyway after much debate today on what to do I made it anyway and was very proud of it when I came home. It smelled so nice. I took a bite out of it to just taste it and I thought...hmmm I think I did a good job. I was bragging to Jeremy like I always do when I think I actually made something good. I was still a little unsure but didn't want him to know that. So, I made it with bread and I was eating eating eating... then finally admitted Jeremy I think it isn't the greatest. So, once again I had to tell him he was right. He let me know that I had a lot of ham to eat up... and I was thinking to myself What am I going to do with this because it isn't very good?!!! So, like his awesome Mother said... just dice it up in cubes and put it in an egg casserole... that kind of ham is good in those. So, next time we have visitors... guess what you get? If I remember that is. It is good just not what I wanted. :)
So, next time you are wanting to make a ham remember to get the ham behind the meat counter with the bone in it. It will be better.
That's all for now... off to bed!
Good Night!
Andrea
Not sure if you know this but we absolutely LOVE OUR HOME!

Our 1st Pumpkin Patch

Hello All,
I am a little late with blogging but I have been extra tired lately. My mom says that she thinks I sleep most of the day and when I am up all I want to do is eat. :) What do you say I want to get big and strong.... duh you have to eat to do that!
Anyway, this last Saturday my Aunt Rhiannon invited my Mom and I down to go to the Pumpkin Patch right by their house. WOW! I didn't know what to think but we sure had fun. I didn't even say a word the whole time I was there... speechless. I didn't know what to think with all those crazy ..... THINGS everywhere. I saw a bunch of cool stuff. Here are just a few of the many things we got to see. See more by visiting my Aunt's website at http://www.svitakfamily.blogspot.com/ My mom and Aunt Rhiannon took turns taking pictures.... hopefully soon Aunt Rhiannon will blog about the fun day we had too. :)
Visiting the Pumpkin Patch:
This is Kenner and Bub watching some play that was done by witches. By the way, I am not sure why but the little guy on the right... his REAL name is Patton for some crazy reason they call him Bub or Bubbi. So, I'm just calling him what they tell me too.
Here is my aunt and my cousins at the Castle... I thought witches were the only ones to fly on brooms? Kenner ....normal. Kenner, 'BUB' and his Mommy... Kenner looks weird.
Here are the COOL boys taking a break in CANDYLAND. Who wouldn't want to take a break in candyland? I think this was Mommy and Aunt Rhiannon's favorite place. They told us when they were cool little kids like us that they used to play Candyland all the time. My cousin Kenner is trying to show me the next fun thing to go do and I guess I wasn't paying attention.
The Gumdrops Mommy and Me. Nice Sucker Mommy I thought that was mine!
Finished the day off with a ride of the Magic School Bus.

Thank you!

A HUGE thank you to Rhiannon for giving my blog a make over. I loved the old one but once I see all these new cool ones I thought I needed something different. Thank you Rhiannon! Let me know what you think!!!

Also, I will post later with pictures but the pumpkin patch this morning was GREAT! We had a ton of fun and worth every penny spent. :) Kenner, Patton, and Rylan took this picture that is on the header... didn't Rylan do a GREAT job sitting up?! :) hehehehe! I will post more later just wanted to say Thank you to Rhiannon and also to let you all know we had a GREAT time!
Huskers played pretty good today except for the last error in the overtime. Darn it! At least they played well and didn't get killed.
Have a great Saturday Evening all,
Andrea

Things going on

Okay, so for the past few weeks we have been doctoring with Rylan on his acid reflux. We had an upper GI done on him at Children's I think a week ago (days are running all together) then started on meds, and still spitting up purple black stuff with really thick spit ups. Then he has come down with a rash... so here is the latest update on Mr. Rylan.
I've been really frustrated with all that is going on so don't think I am a big drunk with me wanting to drink a few beers tonight. :) It was a long day at work with nothing going right... anyway, here is the update!
Okay, so here is the scoop with Rylan.
We are taking him off the Prevased and she wanted to take him off the Carafate but I did NOT want to do that because then he will really be spitting up. So, Monday we will re-evaluate. He can’t be on that much longer so Monday will more than likely be the last of that and she is hoping for the last day of all meds…. We may put him on something else but she wanted me to increase his solids and she thinks that doing that will help him from spitting up. So, full feed for him 3 times a day… and breastfeeding as well. WATCH OUT… WATCH HIM GROW! She thinks that the rash is just something that he got… she doesn’t think it is from the Prevased. Not sure if it the exzema all over or what. She said that it could be just from switching him on all new lotions, soaps, and everything. So, she is prescribing him some lotion with a steroid in it. Once a day with that lotion and hopefully it will clear up fairly quickly. She didn’t want to put him on anything but needs this to settle down so hopefully by Monday he will be a normal cute little baby again. AND hopefully this weekend we can get his 6 month pictures taken. I would also like to get a family picture done but it all depends on how he is. PRAY PRAY PRAY!
I was getting very frustrated today with many things going on. I honestly got up from my desk went to the warehouse to check on something and to just get away from my desk, said a little prayer and things just magically got better. HONEST! Prayer really does work. There is a reason things happen…
Have a good afternoon & evening.. I still will be having a few nice red beverages tonight though.
Tonight I put the lotion on him and oh my! He looks like a grease monkey. It's pretty cute he looks like a little kid going on a first date with his hair all slicked back and smile from ear to ear. That is exactly what he looked like. Never knew the kid was not feeling well besides him just itching like crazy.
I'm excited to post some cute pictures after the weekend. My sister Rhiannon, her two boys, Rylan and I are going to a Pumpkin Patch in Lincoln on Saturday and I really can't wait. I feel like a little kid all over again. Rylan probably won't totally enjoy it but it is exciting we get to do these fun things again. :)
Good Night all,
Andrea

Our Trip to Lowe's

I don't have any pictures of our trip to Lowe's but... funny thing happened. Jeremy and I were ordering our blinds from Lowe's Rylan was being AWESOME! When we got to the car he began to get a little fussy. I knew that from the 20 diapers that I had already changed that day the fussing meant that he needed his pants changed. He had to have Barium this last week so (AUH another story) they warned me that his poopies may be hard and white. So, needless to say the 20 diapers of poops.
Alright so we were at Lowe's getting in the car to go to Wal-Mart Rylan gets fussy so we park and I am going to change him. Not a big deal I've changed him 100 other times in the car. Not a big deal. So, I'm changing him and I notice (sorry to be graffic but that makes the story better) that his poops aren't SOLID a little more runny. Breastfeed babies don't really get hard poops until they start solids. Again, not a big deal I am used to it. So, I'm wiping him and JUST about done... have maybe 2 more wipes left and all of a sudden Rylan starts pooping.... and NOT STOPPING! All I could do was just sit there and catch the poop so it wouldn't get ALL over the car. All I can think of oh my how and I going to stop him from pooping and it getting all over the Envoy AND how am I going to clean it up. I made a little screak for Jeremy to come over because I was not sure what I was suppose to do... what was he suppose to do? Is there anything he can do? AUH! So, we both agreed to try to wipe (with the LAST wipe)as much of the poo that was coming out and then hurry up put his diaper on and get in the store and out so we can go HOME and change him. Luckily enough we made it in the store and back home with no other major POOPS! I guess you had to be there but MY LAND it was funny and a little scary on what to do next. ACT fast or you never know what may come your way!

5 Generations

This was after church and we grabbed Great Great Grandpa Wiedel, Great Grandpa Roger, Grandma Carlece, Mommy, and I for this awesome picture. Not so sure what my Mom was doing but she I guess wanted to be the center of the picture. NICE MOM!

Little League Football

Is this hat funny or what? So, we were headed off to go to my Cousin Simon's Little League Football game and it was chilly so Grandma Carlece and I thought that we needed to bundle him up and make sure his head was covered... well I don't have a winter hat for him yet nor do I have a jacket. Thanks to Aunt Rhiannon for giving us basically all of our clothes and in those clothes is a little sweater jacket. So, we bundled him up in the jacket and also the hat. Cute!

My Mentee Bryanna

I was Bryanna's Mentor the last two years. We had a great time getting to know one another. I wish we could still meet but with the distance between us we are no longer able to meet. Although whenever I see her it is nice because we always catch up with what we've missed. She also really wanted to hold Rylan. With it being cement I wouldn't let her hold him.... nothing against her I just am paranoid. So, finally when we were watching the pagent she finally got to hold him.
Won't she be a great aunt. Her sister may have had her baby already.

Milo Days

We were just sitting along the street before the parade began. The girl in the red JASA is the girl that heard Rylan say his first word. JASA.
Here is Uncle Caleb playing at the band at Milo Day's. Rylan was so funny because when the band came he would blink and not really know what to do with himself. I can't really explain it. He does the same thing when you open up a new bag for the trash can.

First Time with Carrots

This as you can see was not his favorite. This was at Craig's and well when I packed everything I didn't think we would be at Craig's as long as we were so this is the only spoon I had. He did rather well...
I wondered if it was even worth feeding it to him because he just spit some of it out. Talk about frustrating...

After this smile and after it was all done... it is all worth it looking at this smile and dirty face he got something and liked it. :)

My Baby is 6 MONTHS OLD!

Gosh, I always thought it was crazy with Mom's would say how time flies and they can't believe how big their little babies are getting. Okay, so I am one of those Mommies saying that. Here is a picture of my little guy enjoying the football game last night. Okay, so he was enjoying it because he was hanging out with Mom and Dad... but Mommy wasn't enjoying the SLAM that Missouri gave NEBRASKA. Of course, Daddy LOVED it. :)
Here's Mr. Happy
Yes, he is pretty much sitting up by himself... he just hasn't figured out how to stay up and balance himself. He does pretty good... just does a few faceplants. :) Good Night!

Sneak Peek!!!

Okay so here is just a sneak peek of our new home... BEFORE and during the move in. Staircase... right when you come in the front door.To the left when you come in you will see the formal dining room... Then down the little hall to the left is our kitchen.
Then our living room... it looks more open now because we rearranged it a little to make it more open.
This is one of three bedrooms. They are pretty much all the same so I am not going to send you pictures of basically the same thing. :)
Master bathroom....auh the day I can sit in the tub and enjoy. It at least is clean now. :)
I didn't include the other bathrooms, laundry room, walk in pantry, or the basement but this gives you an idea of how much we are already enjoy our new home. WE LOVE IT!

Pictures to Come!

So, this isn't really a good post but I just wanted to let you know that we have the computer room set up and that means my blogging machine is up and ready. I have TONS of pictures and tons of things to report SO, once we get back from Lowe's I PROMISE to update you all on our life.
Say a little prayer for Mr. Rylan. He's got this horrible rash on his face(I guess it started there and is now EVERYWHERE) that is NOT going away. It itches like crazy and seems like it is getting worse. Yes, we've gone to the doctor a lot lately so they SAY it is just a virus that will go away in a few days. It's been a FEW days and still not going away. This stuff is EVERYWHERE! We are going back to the Dr. for other items I will share with you later but I can't wait for them to see him because the rash is just NOT going away!
Anyway, all for now. Off to Lowe's ....
Andrea
