15 days and counting!

Hello All,

Yes, I had another appointment today. It was okay all my questions were answered and still not stinkin' dilated! She said it shouldn't be too much longer. I also asked her if we needed to set up a time to be induced. She was like no I want to give you more time to try to do it yourself. I told her thanks... I don't want to be induced if at all possible.
So, the plan is to keep walking every chance I can!! Which I have been doing an okay job with. Tomorrow I will probably make another trip to the mall to walk and then maybe if the weather coroporates another walk around Lake Zorinsky. The only thing that scares me about walking around the lake is if my water breaks or something and I am either with Craig or whomever.... uh 1) that would be RATHER embarrassing and 2) you can't really get to your car to quickly. So, I may need to stick with neighborhood and mall walking. Although could you imagine me walking around the mall.... with NO car and my water breaks. That would be real nice. :) So, anyway, I'm praying everyday that we get to meet this little person soon! Also, am praying that things remain healthy with me and the baby.
My hands are still numb/asleep (from carpal tunnel) most of the time... even if I am not typing or doing anything. It is rather annoying and can't wait for that hopefully to go away!
Maybe just maybe by this time next week I will have some baby pictures to post! JUST MAYBE!
Have a great week and happy Belated Easter!
Love to all,
Andrea

Another Check Up... and No pictures

Hello All,

Okay so I failed to get some pictures... but now I moved to Omaha so I have to figure this computer out. Story of my life.
As some of you know I have finally moved to Omaha. That means that after 9 months of being away from Jeremy except on most weekends I get to be with him every night and morning. Yeah, I am pretty happy. We still haven't sold our home in Hebron so after the baby comes we will go back to Hebron for awhile and then after that not real sure. One day at at time.
I had an appointment on Monday. It went well. My hands have really been falling asleep lately so I asked about that and lucky me it is carpal tunnel. GREAT! So, I have options... I could wear yet another brace on my hands and totally brace my whole body up(I have a back brace to help with back pain that I thank God every day for). I decided I have another month I can live with it. I just have to take more breaks for the computer than I would like but otherwise my hands are completely numb... which after just typing this much they are pretty much all asleep. It's real fun! My doctor wasn't too worried about it. She said there are many that get it during pregnancy and then it goes away aftwerwards... so I pray that happens to me and I don't have to have surgery or anything after the baby. :) I'm not dilated yet so my doctor told me to make sure I walk a lot.... and I would see her again this coming Monday.
About the lots of walks: Funny story. Okay, so I have been trying to follow instuctions and doing what my doctor tells me and making sure I go on walks... which I have tried to do throughout my whole pregnancy. Well since moving to Omaha I have just walked around the neighborhood.... a few times. Then yesterday Craig (whom we are now living with) asked me if I wanted to go and walk around Zorinsky Lake. I have always wanted to so I said what the heck.... it's walking and I need to walk. So, we decided to go this one way... sorry it is hard to discribe when you haven't seen it. At any rate, to go around the lake was 4 1/2 miles around if we went around the long way or the shorter way was 2 1/2 or something. Craig thought this way was fine (okay so I agreed) and the shortest way. Well we of course went the long way and going around the lake wasn't just the shortest way around. Needless to say, it took us 1 1/2 hours to get around it and last night and this morning and still yet this afternoon it is still hard for me to get out of my chair. My feet have started to swell and my hands are swelling more too. It's great. It was however a wonderful walk and it was absolutely beautiful out so it was well worth it but I think I am paying for it today. Today I think I will just take a quick 15-20 minute walk around the neighborhood. :)
I hate to end this here but my hands are officially totally asleep!
Have a good evening everyone!

I PROMISE

Okay, in my next blog I PROMISE I will post a picture of me .... I also promise it won't be when I get to show off the baby.

Anyway, what I wanted to let you all know is that we have the baby room COMPLETE! Thanks to Mr. Richardson. We started off by painting it yellow but didn't like it so it is now green. Our baby furniture also came in and is up and in it's spot. Everyone, I just want to let you know how very excited I/we am. are that our little bundle of joy will be coming into the world in just a few weeks/days. 36 days to be exact!! I will also post a picture of the baby room for those of you that won't be able to see it on March 16th. It is pretty exciting and a little weird that we will be Mommy and Daddies in just a short time.

I've been cleaning clothes and getting ready for the baby. Thanks to Rhiannon for letting me borrow all of her little clothes. THEY ARE SO CUTE! Of course most of them are boy clothes but I have washed them all because I so think Olive(r) is going to be a boy. Oh well if I'm not correct.

I will be moving to Omaha this weekend for the time remaining left in my pregnancy. My doctor doesn't really want me 2 hours away so I get to join my husband in Omaha. I can't wait. I'm excited but not sure how it will be staying at home and not being around people all day. Other than working on 'projects' from the bank I will get to watch my Baby Story every day (hopefully). I am preparing all my work to leave. Gosh it is so weird that I will be leaving. I'm so ready!

Have a great week... I hear the last load of little clothes are done so I better get them folded.

Love to all,
Andrea & Olive(r)
