Sick baby boy!

Okay, it now has been 4 days of this nasty stuff and I feel like a run down Mommy with no more patients. I was up all night making sure the temps didn't pass the 102.00 mark on the thermometer... which meant it really was 103. Funny part about it was I was up with Rylan at 11:30. About 12:15 I finally go into Jeremy after I tried giving Rylan a bath, cool towels on his forhead and other spots of his body and his temp wasn't going down. I go in and say JEREMY I need your help. He rolls over and says "the journal entry is not going to be life or death of my son!" WHAT?! I said Jeremy I NEED YOU HELP! (more forceful this time but somewhat calming because I didn't want Rylan to get worked up!) I need you to wake up and take a bath with Rylan. He then got mad and rolled over again and said THE JOURNAL ENTRIES ARE NOT GOING to be the LIFE OR DEATH OF MY SON! Can you tell who is working TOO MUCH! Not much longer and we will have our Daddy/husband back! So, after that I gave up and just kept the thermomter close at hand and had a couple of washclothes to use. Rylan hated it but we managed to keep the temp in check... still too high for me to sleep.. but what else was I too do? I was inches away from taking him to Children's but I think my prayers where answered because then the temp came down. Still NOT gone but down. I have a call into the doctor's office but still no call back. YEAH, that was OVER an hour ago! I'm frustrated, tired, and just annoyed that this temp keeps coming back. I hate giving him so much motrin and tylenol if it only works for a couple of hours. I am frustrated and I understand the flu shot only works with certain strans but COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!! How much is too much? How long do you just let it run it's course? WHAT DO I DO? Oh, did I tell you that he won't sleep too much on his own? I thought this morning he was better... he was perky, laughing at Jeremy, and then about 15 minutes later he was clingy and only wanted Mommy! I fed him some banana's and am TRYING to get him to drink as much water as possible... but that is a process! Any suggestions?!
Enjoy the weather!
Andrea
