Flu EWWW

Okay, so Rylan and Mommy just survived a battle of the flu. No, Mommy hasn't had it YET... but Rylan had it. Yesterday around 1 the sitter called me and said uh Rylan's butt is flaming red(which I already knew) AND he is puking. So, on my way I went to go and get him. I did one other thing and then went home because when I went to get him I thought it was really nothing but him just spitting up a bit. Nope he did it again in the car and then a couple more times at home. After that happened every oh 15 min it came out the other end. Needless to say, when a babies butt is flaming red (right before it starts bleeding) it's not very much fun to change poopy diapers. It's probably one of the only times is almost a year that I had the baby blues. It was a lot! He would scream, I would cry and then finally get his diaper back on and literally 5 minutes later he would poop again so the 20-30 min. routine all over again. Finally at 8 it all stopped he went to bed and slept peaceful all night. PRAISE GOD! Today he seemed better but I didn't feel comfortable taking him back to the sitter. So, Jeremy stayed home in the morning and then I came home at noon. He took a good couple naps today (so did Mommy) and then we have been playing the rest of the time. I hopefully things tomorrow will be better with his pees and poopies. Gee, you know your life has changed when you talk about pee and poop! :)
Other than that not a whole lot going on. We are getting ready for the BIG 1 YEAR OLD Birthday Party! TIME FLIES! So, if you are in town stop by our house. We would love to have you.
We also heard from my Aunt and Uncle that Baby Olivia's results came back good. She MAY have to have a surgery in August or September but they believe after the surgery she will be just like every other little baby....I'm not full of details because I was just getting up from my nap and I think I was still half asleep. I just know that things are good! PRAISE GOD! Ya, thanks to the SICKNESS I didn't get to hold Miss Olivia or even get to see her. That is the last thing I would want is for a new baby to be sick!
Have a great rest of the week! Hug the ones that are close to you and always tell them how much you care for them!
Happy LATE St. Patty's Day!
Lots of Love,
Andrea
